All these homes will be made from used shipping containers. This plan is great because it makes affordable homes and smartly uses old materials.
The proposed container homes boast four distinct designs that cater to diverse needs and preferences:
Duplex: Ideal for small families or roommates, offering a balance of privacy and shared space.
Triplex: A perfect solution for larger families or investment properties, providing ample living space across three units.
Alternative Facade Triplex: This eye-catching design adds aesthetic diversity to the neighborhood while maintaining the functional benefits of a triplex.
ADA-Compliant Duplex: Ensuring accessibility for all, this design caters to individuals with disabilities, emphasizing inclusivity in community development.
WRJ Developers Inc. and Three Squared Inc. are teaming up to bring a new idea called “abstainers” to Ohio. They are creating affordable homes out of shipping containers. This smart method cuts down building costs and helps the environment by recycling containers that would have been left unused. Using these cheaper and greener options, the project plans to make it easier for people to own homes in parts of Cleveland where house prices are usually high.
