Even with its stucco exterior concealing its distinctive origin story, this structure promises not only convenience but also intrigue!... Calgary-based Ladacor, an expert in advanced modular structures and the manufacturer of hotels, seniors’ residences, condominiums, and rental apartments is constructing this hotel. To create 40 modules for each of the ten floors, they will be cut apart and then reshaped. Each module will include two rooms with a section of hallway included too! The company also finished a Days Inn in Sioux Lookout utilizing 120 extra shipping containers; traditional wood-frame construction was used for common spaces such as reception areas.
