For 10 days, the Celebrity Series of Boston presented 5,000 unique concerts featuring one musician and performer each in two pop-up locations across the city. Hosted on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston and Harvard’s Science Center campus in Cambridge from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM daily, these brief yet impactful performances are held within specially modified shipping containers for a truly memorable experience.... An array of talented musicians, comprising genres such as jazz, classical, and world music, come together to create an extraordinary experience with “Concert for One”. A concept conceived by Rayna Yun Chou, who graduated from the New England Conservatory. With their fantastic performance over 120 hours comes a reward – each musician is paid for their talent! This show is born out of sympathy towards fellow musicians who feel isolated from audience members due to unforeseen circumstances, providing them a way to continue being creative during these uncertain times.
