Müvbox is a revolutionary idea that combines elements of Fast Food Nation and Shipping Container Nation, creating something both visually captivating and flavorful. Hailing from Montreal, Canada, the concept consists of a shipping container that opens up into an outdoor mobile restaurant with its own gourmet kitchen. It’s almost like Adam Kalkin’s Push Button House in appearance but even more tantalizing when you factor in the mouth-watering local lobster straight from the Magdalen Islands!... Daniel Noiseux, the owner of the renowned Montreal Pizzaiolle restaurants, opened his very first concept restaurant at the historical Old Port in Montreal. Here he is able to deliver fresh, locally sourced, and gourmet cuisine while offering prices that are easy on the wallet. The peculiarity of this enterprise lies with his Müvbox as it’s portable; allowing him to take it anywhere – a festival outdoors, a new venue, or even an event convention.
Müvbox, a restaurant made from an upcycled 20-foot shipping container, can seat 28 people and has been outfitted with modern kitchen appliances that are powered by 40% solar energy on the rooftop. The remaining 60%, which likely comes from propane fuel for kitchen equipment, is also eco-friendly. Additionally, this sustainable eatery features recycled tires as flooring and offers local dishes such as Îles-de-la-Madeleine lobster, Brome Lake duck, and Bilboquet ice cream all of which are healthy options!
