T.J. and Terri Fenske’s journey to create their stunning container home, Steelhaven, began during their time living abroad in Thailand, where they were exposed to the creative ways containers were being transformed into homes, restaurants, and hotels. However, the build took longer than expected due to strict Michigan building codes and pandemic-related supply chain issues.
